Stones Make The Rivers Move (2016)
HD Video with Sound, 3:50 min

In Stones Make The Rivers Move images of auto mechanical parts and tools are animated in anthropomorphic arrangements. Simultaneously a pair of hands touches and moves the objects around the screen, as a computer-generated voice utters children’s statements extracted from Jean Piaget experiments about animistic thinking. As computated environments and “smart” objects trick us into the cunning notion that they have life and mental processes, a new techno-animistic mode of thought is emerging.
